Bach flowers are a set of natural essences used to correct emotional imbalances and treat situations that are born out of these imbalances, such as fears, feelings of loneliness, stress, anxiety, depression, and even obsessive behaviors.

The Bach Flower Remedies were discovered by Edward Bach between the years 1926 and 1934. Dr. Bach was a British physician, who also had knowledge about homeopathic medicine. He started getting interested in diseases and saw them as the end product of an emotional state.

He began making experiments with many flowers of the Wales region, and he found 38 natural remedies.  Each of these essences helped to heal different emotional states. These 38 flowers he discovered are now known as the Bach Flowers.

Bach Flower Therapy

How Do I Take the Bach Flower Remedies?

The general rule is to take four drops, four times a day. Don’t take the drops near the meal times, or else they might interfere with the effects of the essences. During the first day of therapy, it is recommended to take 4 drops every 10 minutes for an hour, then every 20 minutes for the second hour, and then 4 drops each hour for the rest of the day.
